Hi, I’m Kendall — counsellor, energy-based practitioner, deep feeler, and a big believer in the quiet power of coming home to yourself.
I support people through life’s uncertain, overwhelming and in-between moments — when things feel off but you can’t quite name why. When the old ways of coping aren’t cutting it anymore, and something inside is quietly asking for more.
At Coastal Counselling and Wellbeing, I offer counselling, Reiki and Peter Hess® Sound Massage to calm the nervous system, release stuck emotion and help you reconnect with yourself — gently, honestly, and without pressure.
My approach blends grounded conversation with body-based healing. I support adults, children and youth, and while I don’t focus solely on young people, I’ve always had a soft spot for helping them feel seen, heard and understood.
This wasn’t my first career.
For years, I did the ‘right’ things — steady job, reliable path, all the boxes ticked. I started in accounting, then completed a Bachelor of Education, hoping it might lead to something more meaningful. But none of it ever felt quite like me.
I was showing up in a life that looked fine on the outside — but deep down, it felt like I was playing a part. Saying yes out of habit. Smiling through discomfort. Carrying emotional weight that wasn’t mine. Somewhere along the way, I’d stopped listening to myself. It’s not a dramatic story — but it’s a familiar one.
The shift came in 2022 after the end of my marriage — a sudden upheaval that cracked everything open. That period of time forced me to stop, take stock, and ask the hard questions. What do I actually want? What’s no longer working? What do I need to reclaim? It asked me to look back at old wounds and long-held patterns. It called me to heal from the inside out and to finally realign with what felt true. And while it wasn’t easy, it was the beginning of coming home to myself.
That chapter led me into counselling and the world of mind–body healing — where I began to understand how old pain lives in the body, and how sound, energy, presence and safe relationship can help move it.
Now, this is the work that lights me up — supporting others as they begin to feel more like themselves again. Not the masked-up version. The real one. The one that’s been there all along, waiting patiently underneath the noise.
And I care about doing this in a way that’s real — not fluffy, not fix-it-fast. Just honest, compassionate support with room to breathe and be.
This isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level solutions. Working with me is an invitation to gently explore the patterns, beliefs and emotions that have shaped how you relate to yourself, others, and the world around you. I hold a grounded, compassionate space that honours your lived experience and gives you room to reconnect with your inner strength — at your own pace.
Some sessions involve meaningful conversation. Others may incorporate grounding techniques, mindful awareness, or gentle body-based reflection to support your nervous system and encourage a sense of safety within. I also integrate sound therapy, energy balancing (Reiki), and trauma-informed practices that honour the connection between mind, body and emotional wellbeing.
We might explore:
This work is trauma-informed, holistic, and personalised. It isn’t about fixing or forcing - it’s about tuning in, unlearning what no longer serves, and creating space for a different relationship with yourself.
The intention is always the same: To help you feel safe, seen, and more at home in your body and your life.
To support inner transformation, not just symptom relief.
And to guide you back to a place of true self-acceptance, from the inside out.
I’m a qualified counsellor and member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
My training includes:
I live in Dunsborough with my two boys, and when I’m not working, you’ll likely find me by the ocean. Saltwater and sunshine are part of my own healing toolkit — and a big part of why I do what I do.
Because I’ve been where many of my clients are — stretched thin, carrying too much, losing touch with my own needs. And I know what it’s like to slowly come back to yourself.
Not sure where to begin? That’s okay.
Send through a new enquiry below and I’ll be in touch to arrange a complimentary call at a time that works for you.
Let’s reclaim your spark — together.
